The best time to visit Zion National Park is between the months of May and November when the park's free shuttles are running and the weather is amenable to enjoying attractions, and it's the best month to visit it. And you can book the Seattle to Zion National Park tour on the Globerouter.com website with discount price. December through April constitutes the park's low season, but although there will be fewer crowds, some attractions, such as the Narrows and Angels Landing, might be too cold to fully enjoy. The park is open to the public 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
This seven-month span comprises high season in Zion National Park, with May, October and November forming some nice shoulder seasons. During these shoulder months, crowds aren't quite as thick and the weather is mild, with daytime average temps in the 60s and 70s.
The months between June and September will see the highest numbers of tourists, and area accommodation rates will be at a premium. Temperatures soar this time of year, too, with July seeing average temps in the upper 80s, though record highs crest 100 degrees. But the park's free shuttle runs throughout these months, making it easy to get to the various trailheads and attractions.

The months between December and April are characterized by average low and high temperatures that rise from the 20s and 40s in December to the 30s and 60s in April. Although the canyon experiences little snow, some of the attractions will be too frigid or frosty to enjoy.
The free shuttle doesn't operate in December, January or February, so visitors will be reliant on their cars and maps for maneuvering around the park. But there are a few benefits to visiting this time of year, including fewer tourists and lower rates on area hotels. Plus, visitors with cars have the opportunity to enjoy the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, which is closed to private vehicles from March to November when the park shuttle is operating.
