Lots of restaurants near Grand Canyon South Rim since more and more people come to Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon South Rim travel guide shared.
Canyon Village Market Place and Deli
Grand Canyon Village Market Plaza. 0.7 miles from Grand Canyon South Rim. Basic bar food and drinks. We stopped here twice, crowded both nights. We still got a table and service was good.
North Kaibab Trail. 0.8 miles from Grand Canyon South Rim. Food is the same as the restaurant, but it is served by a server instead of in a pick up style. Also, they have a bigger selection of adult beverages than the restaurant.
El Tovar Lodge Dining Room
6312 South Fiddlers Green Circle, Suite 600N El Tovar Hotel. 0.8 miles from Grand Canyon South Rim. While other venues have downgraded their food and service, the Tavern shines. Greeted by a very nice person, and served by an equally nice server, the food offerings are the best we've found thus far in the new-vendor life of the Canyon.
Bright Angel Bicycles and Cafe
Grand Canyon Visitor Center 10 S Entance Rd. 0.9 miles from Grand Canyon South Rim. An enjoyable, relaxed dinner option in the national park serving quality pub fare in a warm setting. Service was very helpful and friendly -- from the man who put our names on the 40-minute wait list (and answered questions on beer) to our efficient.
Grand Canyon Village South Rim. 1.0 miles from Grand Canyon South Rim. This was a nice place to unwind after our day at the Canyon. The staff was very personable & the bar tender was knowledgeable of the local craft beers, giving me a great recommendation.
11 Yavapai Rd. 0.7 miles from Grand Canyon South Rim. The staff was pleasant, you are seated at high top tables or the bar. The food options were pretty typical for a bar, but was satisfying. A little on the pricey end, but there are not very many options to eat in the area.
