2017 FALLS FIREWORKS
Join us for the 21st anniversary of Canada’s longest-running fireworks series! From May until September 2016, every Friday, Sunday and holidays at 10 p.m., enjoy a spectacular fireworks display in Queen Victoria Park. Come early on fireworks evenings to enjoy free concerts at 8 p.m.
If you view the fireworks from Queen Victoria Park during peak season be sure to position yourself with a clear view overhead before they start. Then watch out for the stampede of people who didn’t!
There are fireworks over the Falls on July 4th but it’s only a ten minute display. If you would like to see a real good old 4th of July fireworks display you can view them at one of three locations within a 5-20 minute drive from the Falls on the US side of the border. Try Hyde Park (near Pine Ave, & Hyde Park Blvd), Niawanda Park in North Tonawanda or our favorite Academy Park in Lewiston NY. All shows start at dusk.
Best vantage points for viewing the Fireworks over the Falls: Oakes Garden Theatre & Queen Victoria Park in Canada. All dates and times subject to change and dependent upon weather.
The fireworks at the falls lasts for about eight minutes and it is very small compared to a typical 4th of July type display!
