Buckingham Palace

Opening times: Usually you can have a look at the outside of the palace every day, tours through the premises are only possible from the end of July till the end of September. (link with details at the end of the page)


All fans of the royals, who would like to have a tour through some of the magnificent rooms inside, should schedule their London Trip for August or September and book their tickets online and on time.

Big Ben & Houses of Parliament

London underground station Westminster, Circle Line & District Line, Zone 1

Opening times: At any time, you can visit the Big Ben clock tower and the building of the Houses of Parliament from the outside. The Houses of Parliament is open for tours almost every Saturday and several days from late July to early October. (Link with current dates below)

Tip: If you are looking for a good photo spot for the Big Ben, you should check the view from the nearby Westminster Bridge.

Tower of London & Crown Jewels

London underground station Tower Hill, Circle Line and District Line, Zone 1

Opening times: Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00, Sunday and Monday from 10:00 o'clock morning. Summer (1st March till 31st October) closing times at 17:30 and winter (1st November till 28th February) closing times at 16:30 o'clock.

Tip: To avoid a long queue for the most important London Tower highlight, the Crown Jewels, you should plan your visit for the early morning and start your tour there.

Camden Market Guide

London underground station Camden Town and Chalk Farm, Northern Line, Zone 2

Opening times: Most of the stalls and shops open daily from 10:00 till 18:00 o'clock (link with details listed further below)

Tip: If you lose your shopping mood when there is too much hustle and bustle, you should plan your visit during the week although some stalls open only on weekends. From Friday till Sunday you need to expect big crowds.
